Sara Streeter started NewBCamp as a conference - or an 'unconference' - for bringing people together to learn from each other about technology.
NewBCamp was an awesome experience for me. It was nice being around and meeting new people that share my love for technology. The computer I received will allow me to explore the wide world of Linux and open source software, and to continue to learn about server administration.
Sara Streeter returned to Crystal Lake to rebuild the website for the camp where she had spent summers as a counselor.
The new camp website is built on Wordpress using a Commune theme with custom tweaks. The site is currently in its final stages of development.
